Original Postwar Signature on a Postwar Photo of Arnold Döring. Leutnant Arnold Döring (29.01.1918 † 10.04.2001) earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold on September 25, 1942 as Feldwebel in the 8. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 55 and the Ritterkreuz on April 17, 1945 as Leutnant und Flugzeugführer of the 10. Staffel/ Nachtjagdgeschwader 3.
Provenance: This signature comes from one of the largest postwar signature collection I’ve ever commissioned. This collection was started by a Waffen-SS Veteran, Werner H., in the 1950’s until he passed away.
